Applied Materials, Inc. announced that Yingli Green Energy has granted Applied its “Special Contribution Award” for excellence in optimizing the efficiency and productivity of Yingli’s solar photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturing operations in Baoding, Hebei province, China.
